Connecticut Microwave Directional Couplers are designed to meet YOUR specific requirements. By
using standard parts we can create a custom design at "off the shelf" prices and a short delivery.
The coupled ports shown below are internally terminated. This allows not only simultaneous
measurement of Incident and Reflected power, but also independent coupling levels of each port.
Virtually all coaxial connectors are available on the Mainline or coupled ports.

LOW PIM!!! Customers report that Passive Inter-Modulation is -140 dB!!

CAD drawings are available for any of these Directional Couplers

Power Meter

Power Meter

Need to monitor power? Connecticut Microwave offers metering for a majority of our RF and DC output Directional Couplers. The unit shown is a 50 KW Directional Coupler. The meter indicates 50 KW of Incident power and 2500 Watts when switched to read Reflected power. Units with mulitple meters allow simultaneous measurement of Incident and Reflected power.

EIA 7/8" Short Coupler

EIA 7/8" Short Coupler

Extremely  short and compact. This EIA 7/8" coupler is only 2 3/8" from flange face to flange face yet is available with up to 3 independently calibrated, internally terminated coupled ports. The coupled ports are may be either Incident or Reflected and have individually calibrated coupling levels. While N(f) connectors are shown, virtually all Coaxial Couplers are available.

No Combination is Impossible

No Combination is Impossible

This 450000 series EIA 7/8 inch Directional Coupler has BNC(f) RF BiDirectional coupled ports and  DC Bi Directional coupled ports which are available with cables, SMA's, or RCA jacks.

Limited only by your imagination

Limited only by your imagination

The unlimited flexibility of our designs allows designers to use their own creativity to minimize space and packaging. Shown is an EIA 1 5/8" 90 degree elbow transmission line with EIA 1 5/8" captivated swivel flanges and a type N(f) secondary arm

Transition Directional Coupler DIN 7/16(f) X Tab

Transition Directional Coupler DIN 7/16(f) X Tab

When we say that you are "Limited Only by Your Imagination" we want you to think outside the box. Shown here is a Transition from a DIN 7/16(f) to a solder tab combined in a compact size with a Bi-Directional Coupler

All Coaxial connectors are available

All Coaxial connectors are available

From SMA to EIA 9 1/16 Flanges. DIN connectors too! Shown are LC(m) input, LC(f) output. The seconday ports are BNC(f) covered with protective caps

Very High Power, Up to 65 KW

Very High Power, Up to 65 KW

Line sizes up to EIA 9 3/16 are available. As with all Connecticut Microwave Directional Couplers any number of coupled ports can be added.

Shown are Incident & Reflected DC output coupled ports and a BNC(f) Non-Directional Monitor port on the opposite side

Unlimited Flexibility EIA 7/8 - 9 3/16

Unlimited Flexibility EIA 7/8 - 9 3/16

The flexibility of Connecticut Microwave is demonstrated by our unique ability to combine a Transition, an Elbow, and a Directional Coupler into one compact unit. Coupled ports may be either Incident or Reflected and have individually calibrated coupling levels. While N(f) connectors are shown, virtually all Coaxial Couplers are available including LC, SC, C, HN, and SMA.
